it’s no surprise that i love . i love florals, patterns, animals, vintage, and everything about anthro. so i thought i’d share a few of my favorite things.

plus my birthday is coming up, so it might spark some inspiration.

as some of you may already know, i am currently working for the amazing nancy scheinman (also known as miss nancy, nancy wheeler or kerstin’s mom). she is a painter who specializes in mixed media paintings that include copper, tin, bronze wire cloth, etched vinyl, gold leaf and an assortment of found and handmade objects. patterns, whimsy, landscapes and color make her work absolutely beautiful.

as for my job, we are currently working hard designing the interior of a school in philidelphia. so i’ve been happily painting away. it feels good to go back to my roots as an artist. i think it’s truly where i fit in.
